Frequently Asked Questions
If your questions isn’t answered below, please contact us. We would be happy to assist you.
do you need council permission
Yes. You will need permission for all tree work on your property, including for pruning. The exceptions are: if the tree is dead, if the branches are dead or if the tree poses an imminent danger to life or property.
do you still work in bad weather?
Generally speaking, yes. We work in inclement weather.
The exceptions are extremely high winds, the heaviest of rain and electrical storms.
Do you need power or access to the house?
No.
We are self-contained, though a toilet is handy if we are on-site all day.
Are you insured?
We are professionals and we are insured.
does anyone need to be home?
It really depends on the job. At our initial consult when we get to meet you and learn about your requirements, we can advise whether we need you on-site or not.
Is my tree dangerous?
The answer to this question is dependent on a variety of factors. These can include what is around the tree and what are the consequences if part of the tree or all of the tree, were to fall over.
In some cases - not all - pruning can reduce the risk substantially. Other times, tree removal may be the best solution.
A tree which is healthy and well maintained is generally safe and an asset to your property.
how much will it cost?
Great question and something we are asked on just about every job.
Tree work is a skilled profession, labour intensive and often requires specialised heavy machinery, all of which can make it expensive. Having said that, clients are often surprised at how much work our crew at Intree Solutions can accomplish in a day.
Such work not only helps maintain the trees on your property, it also helps in adding long-term value to your property.
